Customer Service Focus - Since 2017 Lyn has headed Blackfire's customer service and back office staffing department.
- Her overhauled processes led to outstanding customer feedback.
- Satisfaction level of users and research providers improved tremendously.
- At the same time, the improved practices created greater visibility to unauthorized access attempts, including trends and tactics by coordinated foreign parties.
20 Years Customer Service Experience - Including enforcement of government regulations and controlled substances.
Operations and SOP Manuals - Lyn’s background in distribution policies for controlled substances brought a new perspective to the DHS’s "IMPACT clearing House" for research data. She literally wrote the operations manuals to enforce the control policies for handling of the project's sensitive data and documents. This included background checks of individuals and organizations, as well as formal approval processes for access requests.

Dustin’s background includes:

CISSP Certified (2025) - ISC² Certified Information Systems Security Professional, the gold standard certification for cybersecurity leadership.
20+ years securing critical information systems - Led DHS research project maintaining FISMA compliance while defending against sophisticated threats including nation-state attacks.
Virtual & Distributed Team Management - Successful track record building and managing highly technical teams across national and international locations for enterprise-scale implementations.
Multi-sector security and compliance expertise - Healthcare (HIPAA/Medicare), Law Enforcement (FBI security audits), Local & Federal Government, and Higher Education.
Leadership of Enterprise Software Development - Designed and delivered custom solutions for major organizations including major university's Workday integration (158 system touchpoints), DHS research platforms, law enforcement data sharing systems, and healthcare payment processing.
